Louise Drubigny ist eine Künstlerin, Grafikerin und Dozentin. Sie ist 1982 in Paris geboren und lebt seit 2008 in Berlin. Nach dem Studium der Bildenden Kunst an der ENSA-Bourges in Frankreich (DNSEP-2006), konzentrierte sie sich auf die Siebdrucktechnik und begann Aufträge für Maler, Bildhauer, Performer, Videokünstler usw. zu drucken. Dabei lotet sie immer wieder die Möglichkeiten der Technik so aus, dass sie dem jeweiligen Kunstwerk am besten dienen. Um die Siebdrucktechnik zu erweitern verbindet sie den Siebdruck häufig mit anderen Techniken (Gießen, Ätzen, Fotografie usw. ....)
In ihrer persönlichen Kunstpraxis hinterfragt sie Begrifflichkeiten wie Original, Kopie, Fälschung und Doppelung. In den letzten Jahren arbeitet sie vor Allem kollaborativ und stellt die künstlerische Zusammenarbeit in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Forschung.
Seit 2012 ist verantwortlich für die Textil-Siebdruckswerkstatt an der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee.

Louise Drubigny is an artist, printmaker and lecturer. Born in Paris in 1982, she has lived and worked in Berlin since 2008.
After graduating from her Fine Art studies at the ENSA-Bourges in France (DNSEP-2006), she has focused on the screen-printing technique and started to print professionally for artists: painters, sculptors, performers, video artists, bending the technical possibilities of screenprinting to serve the best the art project, always trying to combine screenprinting with other techniques (casting, etching, photography etc...) to extend its possibilities.
Her personal art practice is questioning the original and the copy, the fake, the double. In the last years, she has been mostly working in collaboration with other artists, making the artistic collaboration a central element of her research.
Since 2012 she has been in charge of the textile-screenprinting workshop in Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee.
Louise is fluent in English, French, and German.
