Art in Public Space Event: „Catalogue of Laments (The scroll of How)“
Diadéo trésor is a sculptural installation for disrupting monumental memory in a green space on the corner of Leipziger Straße and Jerusalemstraße in Berlin-Mitte. An integral component is the punctual activation of the installation through a series of commissions by Kandis Friesen. Voices from the Former East: A Polyphonic Artist Talk
6 to 9 pm Podium discussion with three artists originally from Eastern Europe who will talk about post-socialist aesthetics, problems of centre and periphery, decolonization, and nationalism in relation to their artistic practices within the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The event will be held in English at the Mediathek, Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum.
