GENUG!ENOUGH! Global Women*s General Strike
The bbk berlin will be striking on March 9 for the Global Women's General Strike in front of the Brandenburg Gate, supporting a growing platform with over 1,000 women and several dozen men, more than 40 regional groups spread across the globe, and just as many organizations, each saying ENOUGH! in their own way.

Furthermore, the free telephone consultation on March 13 will exceptionally take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fixed appointments on March 13 will remain unchanged from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The following appointments will then take place again at the regular times.

The survey “Living and working as a visual artist in Berlin” is open until January 31. It covers key aspects such as gender (in)equality, income and working conditions, and retirement provisions, as well as individual questions on (content warning:) abuse of power, sexual harassment, and censorship. Take part now!

Our guest in November: Susanne Bosch will be presenting her own work as well as new work from Studio Bosch at FIXTURES #8. Studio Bosch is the result of a collaboration with filmmaker, producer and digital media expert Ulrike Zimmermann.
- “Bitter Sweet”: Group show at Schokoladenfabrik
The studio floor in the 'Schokoladenfabrik' is the largest of a total of 28 Berlin studio locations that are under serious threat. Artists will open their studios in the Teilestraße workspace program from November 5 to November 8 to showcase the diversity of their artistic production and at the same time draw attention to the acute uncertainty facing their location from 2027 onwards.

The bbk berlin is initiating a new working group on the topic of inclusion. The aim is to work with Kate Brehme (berlinklusion) as the driving force, Julie Legouez (initiator of the working group from the bbk berlin board) and Wibke Behrens (managing director of bbk berlin and subsidiaries) to develop expectations, challenges, and objectives for an inclusive orientation of the association.
