Beschreibung • Description

A portfolio is an important part of an artist's portfolio for applications, grants and the presentation of their own artistic work. In this 6-hour workshop, we will learn how a portfolio is structured, what you should consider and how to translate your artistic practice into an appealing digital portfolio.

 

Introduction to the artistic portfolio

  • Meaning and aim of a portfolio
  • What content should be included?

What is important for the design?

  • Structure and layout: How do you design a portfolio that is clear and appealing?
  • Selection and arrangement of works: Which works should be included and in what order?

Introduction to creating digital portfolios

  • Basics of digital design: layout, typography, image editing
  • Discussion in the group of portfolios brought along 

 

You are welcome to bring a current portfolio (digital or analogue) to discuss and optimize together during the course. It is not a problem if the portfolio is not up to date.

Dieses Angebot des bildungswerks wird mit Mitteln der Europäischen Union und des Landes Berlin im Rahmen des Europäischen Sozialfonds (ESF) gefördert. Diese Zuschüsse sind die Basis für niedrige Teilnahmegebühren und für die Dozent*innenhonorare. This bildungswerk offer is funded by the European Union and the state of Berlin as part of the European Social Fund (ESF). These subsidies are the basis for low participation fees and for the lecturers' fees. For this reason, each participant must provide some personal details, employment status and level of education before the start of the event and consent to the processing of the data. A multiple-choice test is also carried out to evaluate the further education offer. All of your data is subject to data protection and will be forwarded to the responsible ESF administration in a depersonalized format to fulfil the evaluation and reporting obligations.
