Procreate Studio Lab: Guided Practice & Personal Projects

This workshop functions as a guided “open studio” for participants who already know the basics of Procreate and want to deepen their skills through hands-on practice. Each participant brings their own concept art, illustration or personal project. The teacher provides individual guidance, technical support, personalized feedback, and tailored tips to help participants solve problems in real time. The day focuses on practical improvement and workflow refinement. Participants without a project in mind will be given one by the teacher, as practice. “Learning by doing” is the core of the workshop.
 

Learning objectives
Participants will learn how to:

  • Apply and consolidate the tools learned in the basic Procreate course
  • Develop their personal artistic workflow on iPad
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (layers, masks, brushes, export, resolution)
  • Improve composition, color, textures, and rendering through guided feedback
  • Set up efficient file structures for larger projects
  • Finalize and export their artwork for print or web


Requirements

  • iPad with Procreate installed, Apple Pencil
  • Completion of a basic Procreate course or equivalent experience
Dieses Angebot des bildungswerk wird mit Mitteln der Europäischen Union und des Landes Berlin im Rahmen des Europäischen Sozialfonds (ESF) gefördert. Diese Zuschüsse sind die Basis für niedrige Teilnahmegebühren und für die Dozent*innenhonorare. Zur Evaluierung des Weiterbildungsangebots wird außerdem ein Multiple-Choice-Test durchgeführt. Die Daten unterliegen sämtlich dem Datenschutz und werden entpersonalisiert zur Erfüllung der Evaluierungs- und Berichtspflichten an die dafür zuständige ESF-Verwaltung weitergeleitet.

For this reason, each participant must provide some personal details, employment status and level of education before the start of the event and consent to the processing of the data. A multiple-choice test is also carried out to evaluate the further education offer.
