Making money in the art world can be tough. It helps if you can describe your ideas, intentions and their results in a way that arouses curiosity among your audience. Be it at a gallery opening, a theatre premiere or even a private party. Your words might open doors and give you opportunities you had not expected.

At the same time many artists avoid ”selling themselves” or convincing people in a way they don´t feel comfortable with.  

In this workshop we will investigate different ways to present your artwork without feeling awkward. A lot of fun exercises and practical tips will help you discover your very own way to communicate your work.

Diese Zuschüsse sind die Basis für niedrige Teilnahmegebühren und für die Dozent*innenhonorare. Daher muss jede/r Teilnehmer*in vor Beginn der Veranstaltung einige Angaben zur Person, zum Erwerbsstatus und zum Bildungsstand machen sowie der Verarbeitung der Daten zustimmen. Zur Evaluierung des Weiterbildungsangebots wird außerdem ein Multiple-Choice-Test durchgeführt. Ihre Daten unterliegen sämtlich dem Datenschutz und werden entpersonalisiert zur Erfüllung der Evaluierungs- und Berichtspflichten an die dafür zuständige ESF-Verwaltung weitergeleitet.

This bildungswerk offer is funded by the European Union and the state of Berlin as part of the European Social Fund (ESF). These subsidies are the basis for low participation fees and for the lecturers' fees. For this reason, each participant must provide some personal details, employment status and level of education before the start of the event and consent to the processing of the data. A multiple-choice test is also carried out to evaluate the further education offer. All of your data is subject to data protection and will be forwarded to the responsible ESF administration in a depersonalized format to fulfil the evaluation and reporting obligations.
