After Effects - Advanced

Adobe After Effects is a professional software for creating animations and digital visual effects in the field of film and video production. For artistic self-expression and increased public perception, animations on the artist's website are extremely helpful and valuable.

Aims:

After Effects offers countless possibilities. In this workshop, we will work together to find solutions to complex problems and delve into some of the functions.

Course contents:

The contents of the course are for the most part variable, we will decide on them together on Saturday, depending on the participants' need for more in-depth knowledge.
It is both possible and desirable to bring your own After Effects projects/problems so that we can find solutions together.

Possible focuses:

• Working with sub-compositions
• Understanding and applying effects and their parameters correctly
• Keyframe interpolation / animation curves
• Working in 3d space in After Effects
• Manipulating and creating motion paths / Motion tracking
• Motionblur
• Retouching with the painting tools and masks
• Deforming with the Puppet tool
• deinterlacing video material correctly

Requirements:

• A basic knowledge of After Effects is assumed and will not be covered in this workshop.

Please bring a laptop with a current After Effects version.
