Das bildungswerk des bbk berlin bietet im Rahmen seiner Künstler*innenfortbildung im Zeitraum April bis Juni 49 Seminare und Workshops, die ab sofort gebucht werden können: Unter dem Titel The Medium is the Message können in der Papierwerkstatt einige Veranstaltungen zum Thema Papier selbst herstellen besucht werden, während in der Druckwerkstatt neue Kurse zu Holzschnitt, Monotypie und Textildruck durchgeführt werden. Weiterhin unterstützt das bildungswerk Künstler*innen mit einem breiten Angebot an Kursen zur beruflichen Weiterentwicklung – von Gedanken zum künstlerischen Nachlass bis hin zu Typologie. Für diejenigen, die Hilfe bei Bewerbungen benötigen, werden Kurse zur Suche nach der richtigen Residenz, zur Entwicklung eines Konzepts, Beratung zum Portfolio (auf Englisch und Deutsch) sowie ein neuer Workshop zur Erstellung eines Portfolios mit der Software Affinity angeboten.
