Stefano Minzi

Graduated in History of Contemporary Art at La Sapienza University in Rome. In 1997 he began to be fascinated by printmaking and attended a printmaking course at the Municipal School San Giacomo in Rome. In 2005 he moved to Berlin where, connected with the cultural vivacity of the city, he carried on his artistic research using printmaking and painting media. The interest for experimental printmaking techniques brought Stefano Minzi to London, where from 2007 to 2009, he attended a Master course in Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). In 2016 he returned to live in Italy and in 2020 completed a three-year training as an art therapist at the Ati school in Bologna.

Since 1998, Stefano Minzi has been exhibiting his works all over the world and has organized several workshops on printing techniques.

Stefano Minzi studierte Geschichte der Gegenwartskunst an der Universität La Sapienza in Rom. Im Jahr 1997 begann er, fasziniert von Druckgrafik und besuchte eine Druckgrafik Kurs an der Städtischen Schule San Giacomo in Rom. Im Jahr 2005 zog er nach Berlin, wo, mit dem kulturelle Lebendigkeit der Stadt verbunden, auf seine künstlerische Forschung trug er mit Druckgrafik und Malerei Medien. Das Interesse für experimentelle Drucktechniken brachte Stefano Minzi nach London, wo von 2007 bis 2009 nahm er an einem Masterstudiengang Printmaking am Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). Im Jahr 2016 kehrte er nach Italien zurück und absolvierte 2020 eine dreijährige Ausbildung zum Kunsttherapeuten an der Ati-Schule in Bologna.

Seit 1998 stellt Stefano Minzi seine Werke in der ganzen Welt aus und hat mehrere Workshops über Drucktechniken organisiert.
