Barbara Wolters ist bildende Künstlerin. Sie arbeitet multidisziplinär mit Fotografie, Film, Malerei und Installation.

Kunststudium an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin, Erstes Staatsexamen Kunsterziehung danach Weiterführendes Studium an dem Institut für Kunst im Kontext der HDK Berlin, Schwerpunkt: Erwachsenenbildung

1988 Artist Residency beim Ultimo Art Project in Sydney Australien und es folgten weitere Internationale Ausstellungsprojekte

1995 Grafikerin für Filmanimation bei Cineanimadores, bei Prof. Alejandro Rojas in Santiago de Chile, anschliessend eine Fortbildung zur Computergrafikerin, und danach Mitarbeiterin für Silicon Studios Berlin-Adlershof

seit 1997 Lehraufträge als Dozentin an digitalen Fach- und Hochschulen in Berlin, für die Bildbearbeitung mit Photoshop und Filmschnitt / Post-production mit Premiere und ab 2001 Ausbilderin für den  IHK-Beruf des Mediengestalters
Freie Aufträge und Coachings im Bereich Filmschnitt für Video Installationen, Dokumentar- und Animationsfilme, Webpräsentationsfilme für Künstler*innen, Filme für Museen

Barbara Wolters is a fine artist. She works multidisciplinary with photography, film, painting and installation.

She studied art at the Berlin University of the Arts, took her first state examination in art education, then continued her studies at the Institute for Art in Context at the HDK Berlin, specialising in adult education.

1988 Artist Residency at the Ultimo Art Project in Sydney Australia followed by further international exhibition projects

1995 Graphic designer for film animation at Cineanimadores, with Prof. Alejandro Rojas in Santiago de Chile, followed by further training as a computer graphic designer, and then employee for Silicon Studios Berlin-Adlershof

since 1997 lecturer at digital technical colleges and universities in Berlin, for image editing with Photoshop and film editing / post-production with Premiere and from 2001 trainer for the IHK profession of media designer

Freelance assignments and coaching in the field of film editing for video installations, documentaries and animated films, web presentation films for artists, films for museums.
